This is one of my favorite tonic herbs Ganoderma lucidum has some incredible quality of life enhancing effects. There are so many things to love about this mushroom but if I had to pick two properties to tell you I would say, blood oxygenating and alkalizing.

In case you didn’t know Ganoderma lucidum and ,Reishi mushroom’ are one in the same and is also known as Lingzhi.

It inhibits clotting by inhibiting platelet sticking so it can potentially increase bleeding problems. It is prohibited before and after surgery as it increases the risk of bleeding.

If you are already taking anti-platelet, immunosuppressant and anticoagulant drugs then don’t take Ganoderma as it can have interactions with these drugs.
